As an Admissions Officer what are the most important qualities/things I should be looking for in a potential student that would make me put them in the top running slots?

      Dear Sue:
Thank you for your question. I’m not sure what you mean by ‘top running slots’, but my recommendation for a new admission counselor is to never forget the bottom line question, which is – “will this student succeed at my institution?” IMHO, the best way to judge that is the level of courses taken, the grades received and the ability of the student to balance coursework and extra-curricular activities. And I always appreciated a student who seemed genuinely interested in our school. Hope this helps!

Had a chance to see Michael in action at a conference a few weeks back and have to say he is one of the best in the game. He has a vast knowledge of the college process after being on both sides of the industry, a passion to help others, and a great personality to complete the package. If you are a high school student or parent looking for help, I believe CCR will be worth your investment and more.
